Waterite®
open diatomaceous earth filters have been in existence since the 1960's. Today we still manufacturer the element to the original
specifications. The principle component for all Waterite® filters is the lightweight, durable, high-impact styrene element
with a polypropylene cover. Waterite® elements are non-corroding, non-contaminating in water whether acid or basic, thereby
providing for years of trouble free, efficient operation. The element is available in standard sizes of 2.5, 3 and 4 square
foot. J L Honberger Co., Inc. acquired Waterite® in the 1990's. The commercial swimming
pool market has always been a focus and the addition of Waterite® to our family aided in supporting our business
